The ValueWeekend is a yearly Value Investing conference for value investors. On an autumn weekend, we discuss a wide range of issues relating to value investing.
The ValueWeekend as platform for the issues of the participants
The ValueWeekend is organized by Value Investors for Value Investors. It is designed as an exchange platform for the participants’ concerns. We offer room for the analyses, questions, challenges and ideas, that the participants want to discuss.
The framework used for the ValueWeekend Conference is the Open Space Technology. Over the course of the weekend we mainly discuss the ideas of the participants in small groups. We purposely chose the ValueWeekend to be different from classical conferences. So, we also transform the meetup spirit into a more extended timeframe.
The Value Investing Conference ValueWeekend as a conference for the DACH region
Our participants are value investors, that are passionate about social and economic topics. They have studied industries and companies, valuations and investment strategies for years. ValueWeekend’s attendees mainly come from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and neighbouring Europe. The main language of the conference is German. But English-speaking participants are also welcome.
Relation of ValueWeekend Conference to #valueinvestors meetups
At local meetup meetings we are discussing value investing in a casual atmosphere. These meetings take place about every two months in different cities, like Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. You are invited to join us via the group #valueinvestors. New participants are always welcome!
A goal of the ValueWeekend Conference is to link the local meetup groups. Therefore, the location is also alternating between the cities of the local meetup groups. Furthermore, the participants of the ValueWeekend mainly are from the meetup groups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
